I just finished this video for The Syndicate Of Soul and thought you might dig it. The images will make up a "read-along" comic that will be released with the 7" single.

Formed in 1987 in Toronto, Canada, The Syndicate Of Soul (SOS) is led by drummer and bandleader Hollywood Bob. Known for their electrifying performances and high-energy sets, SOS has backed Motown legends and lit up stages across Canada, from festivals to major clubs. Their sound blends classic Motown soul with the driving, high-stepping grooves of Northern Soul, giving them a powerful presence in the soul and R&B crossover scene.
Now signed to LRK Records, SOS is a natural fit for any soul, Northern Soul, or R&B collection, delivering a sound that works just as well on the airwaves as it does on the dancefloor. Their debut single, “I Don’t Want To Say Forever,” was inspired by a love-at-first-sight moment Hollywood Bob experienced when he met his wife at the 2015 Calgary Stampede.
The track has already been turning heads, earning strong praise from key voices in the soul community. Mod Marty of On Target Radio describes their sound as “high-energy, floor-shaking, horn-blowing, organ-driven” and calls it both authentic and electrifying. Airplay has spread far and wide—from the Roadrunner Radio Show in Spain to Frank Paisley Schultz in Germany—and across the globe, including Tazy Phillips of Ska Parade Dirty Radio in California.
With heavyweight DJs such as Keb Darge, Badger, Kett Bloomfield, and the Bristol Northern Soul Club already eager for more, SOS is quickly making waves on the international soul scene.
